Another Saturday is definitely here now. This week was a long one at best with lots of craziness as usual and so very hectic, as well.
I started the week introducing my newest business venture with J9 Designs and for more information on this, please look at Monday’s Recap. But in a nutshell, if you are in need of design work for your writing or blogging needs, please do check out my newest website.
Also, I ended up with a very bad migraine mid-week, probably a combination of my allergies, sinuses and a bit of stress mixed in (a not-so great combination). I am feeling slightly burnt out and am thinking of just taking it easy this weekend. I might even take a day off from posting (gasp!) tomorrow. I figure everyone does need a break once in awhile and think I am long overdue.
Plus, Kevin and I are actually getting a much needed and wanted date night (finally) tonight. The last time we went out to dinner alone was for Valentine’s Day give or take. Definitely a long time coming.
So if you don’t see a new post until Monday, you will know why, but did want to give a heads up here and now.
Hope all of you have a very well rested and enjoyable weekend, too. And now it is time to catch up with my weekly recap now!!
On Sunday, I continued on my journey with Slim by the Summer so far with some of my favorite fitness quotes and a feel good story about my late great-grandfather, for more click here.
On Monday, I confessed how an argument with Kevin turned into a brand new venture of sorts for me, if you haven’t already read it, click here.
On Tuesday, I offered a glimpse into what I do after a long day of working with the a bit of a conversation about the newly relaunched soap operas, click here to find out more.
On Wednesday, I decided I would love to share some pictures of Emma and Lily from their first park visit of the Spring back in 2011, when Emma was almost 2 years old and Lily wasn’t even a year old yet for another successful Flashback Wednesday. To see Emma and Lily in all their Spring Fling glory, go here. Also included that day was a combined giveaway that I am involved with Bre and some of her other wonderful sponsors from Peacoats and Plaid. To enter the giveaway, if you haven’t already, please see the rafflecopter below.
On Thursday, I vented to all about some of the questions I have received over the years from apparently stupid people for more on this click here.
On Friday, yet another Finish the Sentence Friday linkup went live with the sentence to finish being, “If I were stuck on an island, I would like to have…”. To linkup if you haven’t or just to find out what I would take with me, as well as what others would like to have with them, too, click here.
And now that another Saturday is indeed upon us, I hope you too have a wonderful, fun weekend. I know that is a loaded sentence and sentiment if you are a mom. My weekend as I said is filled with craziness in the form of my two girls and Kevin, too. Dance this morning, running errands and then not sure what else just yet, but sure we will find something to fill up our time. So much to do, so little time to get it all done!!
Also for the upcoming week, this past week’s giveaway is ending on early in the week and another giveaway is coming up soon, as well more Flashback Wednesday action and keep in mind that Finish the Sentence Friday will be happening again for next week’s sentence click here and as always going live this Thursday night at 10 pm EST!! And that is a wrap-up!!
