Saturday is indeed upon us again and usually I am doing something dance class related for one of my two girls. Both have dance class on Saturday mornings and most of my Saturday morning is indeed taken up by getting them ready and dealing with the two back-to-back hours of dance class for both Lily and then Emma.
But this Saturday, Emma is still sick (she still had a fever this morning), so she will not be going. I have no one to watch Emma, when I would normally take Lily. So, both are not going. I will be honest and say I am not truly sorry, because less crazy times for me and still have more weeks to go on that. So one week won’t kill us at all.
I am honestly so excited that tonight begins Daylight Savings Time, which means that it will stay light until almost 7 pm around here. God, I love this time of the year and how I loathe when we have to change the clocks back only to have it be dark at 4:30 in the afternoon. Nothing more depressing than that. And as my father-in-law says, “I would much rather it be dark in the morning to match dreary disposition!” Can’t agree more and being that I have always been more a night person myself love having it light in the evening versus the morning time.
Also, St. Patrick’s Day and spring is right around the corners, two more things I truly love about March. And last but not least Easter, which I will be dealing with possibly at some point this weekend in the form of beginning to shop for bikes for my girls to get from the Easter Bunny. So, wish me luck on that one!!
And now let me get on with it and share that this week has been another great one filled with so much for my little blog. And in case you missed any of the action, here is your chance to catch up now!!
So here we go and back by popular demand my weekly confessions wrap-up or recap, whether it be a chance for you to catchup or just take a break like me. Without further ado, here is this past week at a glance.
On Sunday, I gave the reader in inside look at the craziness that occurred in my house before the actual Peep-tastic Post came to life If you are curious about what insanity actually occurred (hint it includes Vodka and a cake pops tray that was less than cooperative) and want to bathe in the original much like Lily did with that bottle of vodka, click here.
On Monday, I shared with you how I actually got started with my daily workout routine and which exercise machine has become like an old dear friend to me. So, if you missed it and want to know more on this, click here. Also, on Monday I gave my readers the chance to predict their moods or their partners with a truly entertaining giveaway, which is still running and there is still time to enter at the bottom of this post. Read the original post, here.
On Tuesday, I offered a glimpse into my childhood and the town I grew up in, when I had to return to my hometown for the wake of my dear, beloved family friend, click here for more on this.
On Wednesday, I decided I would love to share pictures of a very special milestone that both my girls reached in the past for another successful Flashback Wednesday. That milestone was none other than smiling and I showcased some pictures from that actual time in each of their little infant lives that occurred during the winter months in both 2010 and 2011 here.
On Thursday, I gave the readers a glimpse into my love and passion for St Patrick’s Day , as well as also shared two sinful recipes to celebrate this lucky holiday. If you are dying to be a bit sinful in your tastes, then click here.
On Friday, yet another Finish the Sentence Friday linkup went live with the sentence to finish being, “I tried to cook…”. To linkup if you haven’t or just to find out what disasters I could come up with for this (hint a fire and second degree burns are showcased), as well as others, click here.
And now that another Saturday is indeed upon us, I hope you too have a wonderful, fun weekend. I know that is a loaded sentence and sentiment if you are a mom. My weekend as I said is filled with craziness in the form of my two girls and Kevin, too.
Also, coming up this week are a bit of early birthday talk with Emma led to a bit of mayhem as far as what the Birthday Fairy may be in for Also, stay tuned for the craziness that occurred at our dinner table, as well more Flashback Wednesday action and keep in mind that Finish the Sentence Friday will be happening again and as always going live this Thursday night at 10 pm EST!!

Totally ironic how much I was looking forward to pushing the clocks ahead and then Emma got sick. Seriously, I am totally lost with time today and have been since I got up!!
