Saturday is indeed upon us again and right about now I am most likely doing something dance class related for one of my two girls. Both have dance class on Saturday mornings and most of my Saturday morning is indeed taken up by getting them ready and dealing with the two back-to-back hours of dance class for both Lily and then Emma.
Afterwards, we all do surely need a break. It is also already March and thank the Spring gods that we made it. Spring and Daylight Savings time is now indeed around the corner. We aren’t out of the woods though, because cold, nasty weather can still happen during the month of March, but still something about knowing we made it past the cold dark dreary months of January and February, too makes it that much sweeter for some reason.
That said, I may be rambling a bit, but can’t help, but feel slightly happy for this. Anyway, it is indeed Saturday and now onto the Weekly Confessions Wrapup that you all have been anxiously waiting (yes sorry couldn’t resist a bit of my own sarcastic nature here).
This week has been a great one filled with so much for my little blog. And in case you missed any of the action, here is your chance to catch up now!!
So here we go and back by popular demand my weekly confessions wrap-up or recap, whether it be a chance for you to catchup or just take a break like me. Without further ado, here is this past week at a glance.
On Sunday, I hosted a wonderful linkup with some of my besties with Dawn from Dawn’s Disaster and Kera for Nugget on Budget. I also vented here about the fact that many seem to think that my two girls are more like twins than sisters. If you are curious why this is and want to read the original, click here.
On Monday, I shared with you a bit of my own personal struggle with wanting to firm up versus actually lose weight. I have always been petite and slender (still am), but having kids has changed the actual shape of my body. But what implications does this actually have for me with my Slim by the Summer connections? So, if you missed it and want to know more on this, click here.
On Tuesday, I featured another awesome review, giveaway and coupon from a fabulous company well known for its holiday candies and sweets. Peeps is the name of this little company that can and for lots of Spring/Easter Recipes and ideas, please click on this Peep-tastic link here.
On Wednesday, I decided I would love to share pictures from a winter wonderland outfit that both my girls wore when they were approximately the same age and size for another successful Flashback Wednesday. And I showcased some pictures from that actual time in each of their little infant lives that occurred during the winter months in both 2010 and 2011 here.
On Thursday, I gave my sarcastic, yet heartfelt take on what the perfect dinner date for Kevin and I would look like. If you are dying to know more, then click here.
On Friday, yet another Finish the Sentence Friday linkup went live with the sentence to finish being, “You want to know what I think of social media? I think…”. To linkup if you haven’t or just to find out what my take on social media could be (hint I am just a bit obsessed), as well as others, click here.
And now that another Saturday is indeed upon us, I hope you too have a wonderful, fun weekend. I know that is a loaded sentence and sentiment if you are a mom. My weekend as I said is filled with dance and tomorrow Emma has her first kiddie birthday party for one of the little boys in her pre-school class (none other than her first ‘boyfriend”). Lily is invited, too. So, should be interesting and sure I will have a story or two to share on here in the near future.
Also, coming up this week are some wonderful St. Patty’s Day Recipes from our house to yours. Also, stay tuned for the craziness that ensued before my famous Peeps post came to life, as well more Flashback Wednesday action and keep in mind that Finish the Sentence Friday will be happening again and as always going live this Thursday night at 10 pm EST!!

T.A. Wood says
Hi, I had clicked on the video on the Bloppity Bloggers group page, thinking you had made a vlog! I was so confused. lol. It's a really fun video though. Here's to enjoying your Sunday!
Janine Huldie says
Oh sorry for the confusion T.A. I am so not one to do a vlog though, because I am not in love with how my original Queens (NY) accent sounds and comes through!! Glad you enjoyed the video though and truly thought it was a fun find!! 🙂 And hope you enjoy your Sunday, too!!
Kat Biggie says
awww, I would love to hear your accent! My grandpa was born and raised in Queens! 🙂 I never met him, but I love listening to his living family.
Janine Huldie says
Maybe someday I will get brave and go for it Alexa, lol!! 🙂
Kat Biggie says
I'm just laughing at T.A.'s comments below! I can imagine that would have been confusing!!! LMBO! I look forward to your wrap up, especially on a week like this one, where I did not get over as often as I usually like to do. I don't even know where this week went. It was too crazy! But I did have a very special night last night with my children, and was so thrilled to see my baby girl try on her very first dance recital costume! Life is good!
Janine Huldie says
Oh I love dance recitals and this year we have both girls in the local dance company's one on June 9th. The costumes have been ordered and should be in any day now. Cannot wait to see them both all dressed up and in them. I am sure your baby girl looked beautiful and agree with you that life is good!! 🙂
Janine Huldie says
No apologies Richard. I totally understand and just take some time if you can for yourself if you have a day off!! Sounds like you need it and am thinking of you 🙂
gigigirl says
