Recently, I was contacted to review Wondershare’s DVD Slideshow Builder Deluxe, which allows photos and videos to be blended together. Well at the start of 2013, I started a new project known as 1 Snap A Day. Well, I had so many photos already just for the month of January and even had a few videos too that I had took. I couldn’t use every photo that I for 1 Snap A Day, because the project only allows me to upload one a day, but I truly have about 100 photos from only three weeks time.
Then, I thought for a bit and realized that I could put together all I had from only one short month in my very own slideshow. Also, for a mother who loves taking pictures or videos of her kids and has 1,000s of photos over the course of my kids’ lives, this was truly intriguing to me to be given the opportunity to indeed try out. How was I able to come up with this great video? Well, I did indeed use Wondershare’s DVD Slideshow Builder Deluxe, which as soon as I started downloading, registering and then started to use the actual software (I used the Mac Version, but there is PC/Windows Based Version, too), I was in love. I played around with it off and on all day long. I loved not only being able to add my pictures, but to be able to add text captions to each one, as well. Video clips were my next add on and just could not believe how quickly and efficiently I was able to drag and drop them right into my sideshow. Another awesome feature was I then got to set my slideshow to my own personal music from my iTunes Library.
Once I had my whole slideshow together and edited, last, but certainly not least, I was then able to download a copy to my own computer, as well as upload it directly from the program to Youtube. The whole process was effortless and so very simple.

This looks like a really great product! I went through a phase where I was turning videos of my kids into home movies that I edited and put to music on iMovie…I had a lot of fun doing that and have wanted to get back into it.

I have iMovie on my MacBook and never truly used it. I use iPhoto all the time, but for some reason never did use it, but I have to admit I was asked to review this and truly loved it. I will definitely be using it again and was impressed with how easy it really was 🙂
