Giggly, Fun Loving Emma & Lily Early Summer 2011

Filed Under: Kids Posts, Writing/Blogging Tagged With: Fun Times, Giggling, Smiling

My girls smiles, giggles and there interactions with each other are usually the best part of my days. Being a stay at home mom can be quite insane and crazy, too at times. I have recounted that on my blog numerous times over.

But every so often I capture my girls on camera doing all three of these things and can’t tell you how much my heart swells and beats a bit faster being able to look at the moment over and over again in this still frame.

Today’s Flashback Wordless Wednesday find is a photo that I took back at the beginning of the Summer of 2011 right before Emma’s 2nd birthday.

Emma had gotten these adorable cute sparkly star sunglasses and she just loved them.  This is the kid that has always loved her sunglasses and this pair she truly wore all summer long that year, whether she was outdoors or indoors, too.

And Lily was so joining in the fun here, by them playing and hugging each other on floor in our house before going out to play outside for a bit.

Here are my two giggly, fun loving girls doing what they always seem to do best, just having a blast doing their own thing!!

Giggly Girls!!

OH MY, just too cute for words! Do they always cuddle and get along? I know my sister and I were six years apart, me being older. I was awful to her when she was younger. We are much closer now.

    • Janine Huldie says

      June 5, 2013 at 10:34 am

Thanks Karen and believe it or not they truly do get along for the most part and love each other/protect each other like no one's business. But they do have their moments every so often. Sharing is the hardest, but thankfully it is usually short lived. I had 6 years between me and my brother (also being older) and yes I too could be a beast to him!!

Kera, when I found out I was having Lily, my sonographer (the same had for Emma) told me "Sisters are the best" and then followed up with Emma is going to have a sister. When I read your comment you totally made me think of that. And she was so right and so excited for Sophia that she is going to have a little sister so close to her age, too!! 🙂 xoxo!!
